Able2B Sign-Up & Code of Conduct Policy

Able2B is committed to providing a safe, inclusive, supportive and enjoyable environment where all participants can improve their health, fitness, wellbeing and independence.

To ensure everyone has a positive experience, all clients, family members, carers and supporters are expected to follow this policy.

Important: Please ensure you have read and understood Able2B's Safeguarding Policy and GDPR/Privacy Policy, which are available on our website.

By registering for any Able2B service, clients (or their parent/carer where applicable) agree to the terms outlined below.

Client Code of Conduct

Able2B welcomes people of all abilities, backgrounds and needs. We ask everyone to contribute to a positive, respectful and supportive environment.

Clients are expected to:

  • Treat staff, volunteers, coaches and fellow participants with kindness, dignity and respect.

  • Follow all instructions provided by Able2B staff relating to safety, equipment use and participation.

  • Arrive on time and be prepared for sessions wherever possible.

  • Inform staff of any changes to their health, medication, mobility, support needs or emergency contact details.

  • Respect the privacy, personal space and dignity of other participants.

  • Use equipment appropriately and only as instructed.

  • Help create a welcoming and inclusive environment for all.

  • Communicate concerns, complaints or issues respectfully with staff.

 

The following behaviours will not be tolerated:

  • Bullying, intimidation, harassment or discrimination of any kind.

  • Aggressive, threatening, abusive or violent behaviour.

  • Offensive language, racist, sexist, homophobic, transphobic or discriminatory comments.

  • Behaviour that places yourself, staff or other participants at risk.

  • Deliberate damage to Able2B property, equipment or facilities.

  • Attending sessions under the influence of alcohol or illegal substances.

  • Repeated disruption of sessions that affects other participants' ability to take part safely.

  • Taking photographs or videos of other participants without their consent.

 

Safeguarding & Respect

Able2B is committed to safeguarding all clients. Any behaviour that raises concerns about the safety or wellbeing of a participant, staff member or volunteer may be reported and managed in line with Able2B safeguarding procedures.

Breach of Code of Conduct

Where a breach of this Code of Conduct occurs, Able2B reserves the right to:

  • Issue a verbal or written warning.

  • Discuss concerns with parents, carers or support staff where appropriate.

  • Temporarily suspend participation in activities.

  • Terminate services immediately in serious cases where safety, wellbeing or safeguarding is compromised.

 

Any decision will be made fairly and proportionately, with the safety and wellbeing of all participants being the primary consideration.

 

Health, Safety & Illness Policy

The health and wellbeing of all clients, staff and volunteers is extremely important.

Clients must:

  • Inform Able2B of any medical conditions, injuries or health concerns that may affect participation.

  • Notify staff of any changes to medication, mobility, support needs or emergency contact information.

  • Follow all safety instructions provided by Able2B staff.

 

Illness & Infection Control

Please do not attend sessions if you are unwell.

Clients should not attend if they have:

Sickness or diarrhoea.

  • A fever or high temperature.

  • Flu-like symptoms.

  • An infectious illness.

  • Any condition that could reasonably be passed to staff or other participants.

 

If a participant becomes unwell during a session, staff may request that they leave and return once they have recovered.

Payment Terms

Services are payable in advance or on the day of attendance unless otherwise agreed.

Able2B reserves the right to suspend services where fees remain unpaid.

Current Prices

  • Initial Assessment £50

  • 1:1 Session (30 minutes) £35

  • Group Class (1 per week, 40 minutes) £50 per month

  • SwimSpa (1 trainer) £45

  • SwimSpa (2 trainers) £55

  • Rebound Therapy (1 trainer) £50

  • Rebound Therapy (2 trainers) £60

  • Online Virtual Classes (3 per week) Free

Assessment Fee

The £50 assessment fee is payable in advance by bank transfer or may be paid by cash or cheque on the day of the assessment.

Bank details will be provided upon booking.

Cancellation Policy

1:1 Sessions

A minimum of 24 hours' notice is required to cancel or reschedule a 1:1 session.

Where less than 24 hours' notice is provided, or a client fails to attend without notice, the full session fee will be charged.

 

Group Classes

The monthly class fee secures and reserves a place within a class.

As places are limited, the monthly fee remains payable regardless of attendance at individual sessions.

No refunds or credits will be provided for missed classes.

If you wish to discontinue your class place, you must provide at least 7 days' notice before your next monthly payment date. Failure to provide sufficient notice may result in the next month's fee being charged.

Consent & Agreement

By registering for and using Able2B services, you confirm that:

  • You have provided accurate and up-to-date information regarding health, support and personal details.

  • You understand that participation in physical activity carries an element of risk.

  • You agree to follow the Able2B Client Code of Conduct.

  • You understand and agree to the payment and cancellation policies.

  • You will not attend sessions if you are unwell or have an infectious illness.

  • You understand that Able2B reserves the right to suspend or terminate services where safety, wellbeing or safeguarding concerns arise.

  • You understand that Able2B's Safeguarding Policy and GDPR/Privacy Policy are available on the Able2B website and you are responsible for reading and familiarising yourself with these policies
